About Us
Who we are
We are a Catholic prayer group from the Sri Lankan community, based in British Columbia. While we share a common background, we welcome everyone who wants to grow in faith and community. We hold monthly prayer meetings, pray the rosary daily, and organize various events throughout the year. Our goal is to create a supportive and welcoming space where young people can connect with their faith and with each other.
Deacon Peter Gomes
Deacon Thilina is the heart behind our prayer group. As the one who first brought us together, he’s been a constant source of guidance, encouragement, and faith. His dedication to the group is shown not just in the time he gives, but in the care he puts into every gathering, prayer, and event. Thanks to his leadership, the group has grown into a strong and welcoming community where young people can build their faith and support each other. We’re truly grateful for all that he does.
